Walton Family Whole Health & offers state of the art Group Fitness classes led by the top nationally certified instructors in the industry, offering classes in a variety of formats with in-class options geared toward your fitness level.  Instructors are fun, friendly, approachable, and are there to offer encouragement.  For members to have a positive and safe experience here are some common guidelines that members are encouraged to follow:

1. Pre-registration is strongly recommended due to capacity limits.  That can be done in your on-line account or the app.

2. Arrive on Time: Please arrive a few minutes early to the class to allow time for check-in, setting up your equipment, and preparing for the session. Late arrivals can disrupt the flow of the class. We will begin allowing walk-ins at the start of the class.  If you registered and are not present, your space could be filled.

3. Respect the Instructor: Follow the instructions and cues provided by the instructor. They are there to guide and support you throughout the class. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to ask the instructor before or after the class.

4. Proper Attire: Wear appropriate workout attire and footwear suitable for the specific type of class. Some classes may have specific clothing or footwear requirements for safety and comfort.

5. Equipment Usage: If the class requires any equipment, such as mats, weights, or resistance bands, please use them responsibly and return them to their designated storage area after the class.

6. Personal Space and Courtesy: Respect the personal space and boundaries of other participants. Be mindful of your movements and avoid encroaching on others' space during the class.

7. Hydration and Rest: Stay hydrated throughout the class by bringing a water bottle. If you need to take a break or modify any movements due to fatigue or discomfort, feel free to do so at your own pace.

8. Cleanliness and Hygiene: Wipe down any equipment or mats used during the class with the provided cleaning supplies after use. This helps maintain a clean and hygienic environment for everyone.

9. Follow Class Guidelines: Some classes may have specific guidelines or rules related to the format, intensity, or structure. Please follow these guidelines to ensure a cohesive and effective class experience.

10. Respectful Behavior: Be supportive and respectful of your fellow participants and the instructor. Positive and encouraging behavior creates a welcoming and motivating atmosphere for all.

11. Feedback and Communication: If you have any feedback or suggestions for the class, feel free to share them with the instructor or the fitness center staff. Your input is valuable in improving the overall class experience.

These guidelines are designed to promote a positive and inclusive environment for all participants in group fitness classes. Specific rules and expectations may vary depending on the type of class and the policies of the fitness center. It's always a good idea to review any specific class guidelines provided by the fitness center or the instructor before participating in a class.
