Your share of the cost for your benefits is normally deducted from your pay automatically. If you are on an approved short-term disability claim while on an extended leave, it will, in most cases, be automatically deducted from your short-term disability benefit payments, which will be issued through the Walmart payroll system.
If you are an hourly associates who works in California, Hawaii, New Jersey, New York, or Rhode Island and have an approved short-term disability claim, your short-term disability payment will not be issued through the Walmart payroll system. You will be responsible to pay for your benefits directly via phone or by mail:
