Label Review Case Studies

Instructions:

We have provided our brand and claim standards below in the "Resources for Label Reviews" section. We strongly encourage that this material is reviewed and referenced during your review of the case studies. Please be aware that most of these standards are in draft status as they are being updated and finalized.

Each service provider should reference the email sent to them to determine which case studies they are expected to complete. If you feel there is missing information for a case study, please make a note and continue to do as thorough review as you can with the information provided. If you cannot review a specific element of the label, please annotate that you cannot review due to missing information.

You should NOT contact anyone (supplier, product developer, etc.) for additional information and all reviews should be done using only the information provided on this page.

Annotations should be made directly onto the artwork files. When you are finished with a product review, you will need to submit the artwork file with your annotations. Should you have issues making annotations directly onto the file, please document your review within a word or excel document to submit. Each annotation should be categorized using the following criteria:

  • Required Change: Regulatory
  • Required Change: Claim Substantiation
  • Required Change: Brand Standard
  • Suggested Change

It is recommended to always right click documents on this page and open in a new tab where it can then be viewed or downloaded. This is so that you do not navigate away from this page. Please note if a document does not open in your browser, it likely downloaded directly to your computer.

When you are finished with your reviews, you should send the artwork file with annotations to the Walmart team for evaluation. Please note that depending on file size, you may need to send more than one email. If attachments are too large for individual emails, please notify us so that we can provide an alternative method for submission.

All submissions, issues, and questions should be sent to us at FoodLabelEscalations@wal-mart.com.
