    Summary: The IDC Technical Enablement and Learning Strategy team in partnership with the global Technical Talent Experience (TTX) team is excited to offer the Engineering Onboarding program in Bangalore. This training leverages the Pangaea suite of tools and technologies that power Walmart’s eCommerce platform, including the front-end, back-end, and infrastructure. It is required training, and the goal is for all new software engineers to receive it within their first 30 days to maximize efficiency and speed to delivery. This is a classroom session with labs.

    Course Title: Blockchain - Types and Applications

    Summary: In this workshop, participants will start from the basics of what makes a blockchain and its principles. They will be able develop an appreciation of why this cutting edge technology has caused such a stir and how it has the potential to revolutionize our transactions and storage systems. Participants will also learn about the two most common blockchain architectures - public and permissined, and their applications.

    Objective : This Kafka Advance training helps you master the Apache Kafka Ecosystem, Architecture, Core Concepts and Operations, Extended APIs . After this training you will have clear understanding about master concepts such as Topics, Partitions, Brokers, Syn and ASyn Producers, Consumers and different Kafka connect clients for HDFS, Elastic Search and File.

     

    ML with Python

    Objective : This course provides a hands-on introduction to machine learning using python. The course co-vers supervised learning and unsupervised learning. After covering the classical machine learn-ing using linear regression, logistic regression, clustering the course moves on to more modern methods like gradient descent, decision trees and support vector machines.

     

    Hadoop

    Objective : Apache Hadoop, the open source data management software that helps organizations analyze massive volumes of structured and unstructured data, is a very hot topic across the tech industry. Employed by such big named websites as eBay, Facebook, and Yahoo, Hadoop can be hosted on cloud environment like Windows HDinsightService , where we need to pay for the computing resource we use.

     

    Spark Advanced

    Objective : Course on Apache Spark & Scala is a 3 days(24 hours) course which will cover different concepts of Big Data, Challenges in Big Data Processing, Approach to Big Data Problems using Apache Spark, specifics of Spark like it's Components, Installation Steps, RDDs, DataFrame, DataSet, Transformations, Actions, Lazy Execution, Integration with HDFS.

     

    Agile and Jira

    Objective : Understand the need, origin and evolution of Agile methodology, its principles and practices 2. Understand the basics and structure of Scrum Model 3. Learn how Scrum can be used by teams for its benefit and for the benefit of its organisation and customers 4. Learn about the roles, ceremonies and artefacts associated with Scrum model 5. Understand how people in organization play roles to use Agile and Scrum 6. Learn how teams and management use Jira for logging and tracking their work effectively 7. Learn to create and manage Jira reports and dashboards 8. Learn about best practices to use Jira.

     

    React JS

    Objective : React is one of the most popular libraries to build front-end web applications. This course starts with the fundamentals of React covering the core concepts of React Components, thereafter we go all the way from basic to advanced features focusing on design, performance and scalability. The course deep-dives into components, React Hooks, State management using Redux and React Context, Navigation using Routers and Server-side rendering. We will explore various tools and libraries to build a Single Page Application and invoking REST services. During the course an application would be built incorporating the concepts learned using real-time use-cases.The course also introduces the various API's and tools for testing and process for deployment.
