A Mind is a Terrible Thing to Close (abridged)
Dr. Steve Robbins delivers a dynamic presentation focused on the science-based benefits of creating inclusive workplaces. Using the fields of cognitive neuro-science, socio-psychology and communication, Dr. Robbins provides a language that invites people into productive conversations about inclusion and diversity. The session will deliver a better understanding of how the brain’s natural functioning can prevent us from leveraging human differences, as well as the root causes of many diversity & inclusion-related issues.

Dining in the Dark is a unique learning experience designed to help participants identify and mitigate unconscious bias and build inclusive leadership skills through a fun and fast-paced blend of practical application and facilitated discussion.

In this series of short 2-3 minute videos and discussion guides, you will explore topics pertaining to belonging, bias, and how the brain operates in our interactions with others.

Data Literacy
Upon completion you will gain a better understanding of the urgency in our organizational culture shift for data literacy, the difference between data literacy and data science, and the impact of the Walmart Data Strategy on all roles as a job requirement.

This training includes group and participant exercises and activities. Upon completion you will have a fundamental understanding of how the concepts of value and trust relate to data; data governance and the roles of people, processes and technology; what decision intelligence is at a high level; and the future of data at Walmart.

This course will help Associates master the capabilities demanded in today's tough business environment. In short, the course will power Associates to move far beyond their comfort zone as they stretch for and attain ambitious new goals.
High Impact Presentations
Participants begin presenting from almost the moment they walk into the class and will present at least seven times over the course of two days. The presentations are videotaped and evaluated while associates get expert, one-on-one coaching at the end of each presentation.
Nature of Strategic Thinking
Strategic Thinking is a workshop designed to help Walmart professionals learn the skills needed to be a strategic partner within the organization. Learn to challenge your current thinking processes and look at things through a strategic lens.
Unleashing Your Potential through Empowerment
This is a four hour class that includes participant exercises. The leadership classes are part of three essential learning pillars for our organizational digital enterprise transformation. Upon completion of this class you will have a better understanding of how to embed empowerment as a key behavior for associates, increase team engagement, encourage innovation and redefine leadership.

Values Based Decision Making
This is a 90 minute class that will include interactive discussions and scenarios designed to increase leader confidence in using good judgment in making day to day decisions for our associates, customers and business partners. Upon completion of this class you will have a better understanding of how to connect Walmart values to our day to day work, incorporate them into decision making, and apply Values Based Decision Making.
Spark City
Spark City is a Sims-style game designed to teach players how to balance competing priorities to effectively manage a department. The game challenges learners with real-life situations in a controlled environment where mistakes won’t cause real-world consequences.
