Mrinal Chatterjee, Vice President Merchant Technologies, Walmart Labs India, is responsible for delivering next generation products and services to enable merchandizers to manage all aspect of merchandizing from catalog management, pricing platform, cost optimization, market intelligence, search platform, etc. In addition, the team works on partner and seller platforms to enable our large partner and seller community to manage their relationship with Walmart, manage catalog, inventory, prices and so on.
Mrinal is an industry veteran with over 27 years of experience across enterprise software and consumer tech who loves to build highly scalable products, teams and processes in lazer sharp focus on customer needs and engineering excellence. He is well respected as great coach and mentor and strongly believes in growing people to scale organizations.
Prior to joining Walmart Labs, Mrinal worked at Amazon where he was leading payments tech to serve customers in India. During his stint in Amazon, he set a bold vision and delivered a number of India-first and Amazon-first innovations, many of which have been adopted in the U.S. and other countries.
Mrinal has had the opportunity to work with great leaders during his career and believes that learning is a life-long process. Mrinal has been often recognized by his team as a visionary and goal-oriented product and technology leader with a track record of defining vision and strategy, product architecture, roadmap design, and execution strategy. He is credited with growing and coaching teams to deliver highly scalable products in hyper growth organization with relentless focus on ‘customer backwards’ thinking.
Mrinal loves photography, travel, and involves in community service. He is also an ardent dog lover!
