Balu Chaturvedula is the Vice President – Engineering at Walmart Labs. As a result-driven technologist and a strong hands-on engineer, Balu focuses on building and leading top talent teams and continuously improving engineering practices by partnering with product to align technology with business goals. Balu began his career at Walmart Labs in 2015 as a Senior Director.
His techno functional expertise lies in web portals, search, content, Ad platforms and embedded devices. Prior to joining Walmart Labs, Balu has worked at organizations such as HP, Yahoo and Motorola.
With 19 years of experience in the industry, he is a visionary deeply invested in building, leading and growing winning teams to consistently deliver compelling results. In his career, he has also directly managed global teams. Recognized for empowering his teams and setting benchmarks in goals, Balu is recognized as a fine leader, greatly skilled at designing futuristic roadmap for technology.
Balu holds an Engineering Degree from the University of California, Berkley.
