What is W-Connect?
W-Connect is our first unique mentoring circles for women at mid-levels of their profession aimed at creating a career-focused identity. A circle for aspiring women leaders, this forum provides an opportunity to learn from peers and leaders, brainstorm on everyday challenges, self-assess developments and thereby evolve your professional vision successfully.
empowHER
empowHER is IDC’s flagship Career Development Program for future women leaders at IN 4 level. empowHER is a six-month development journey created for our high potentials women associates at mid-management, in collaboration with UnBox and NASSCOM, with a focus on exposure and experiences. The program includes a guided plan of virtual learning labs with topics ranging from business acumen, domain expertise, tech upskilling and leadership capabilities.

ReSpark
ReSpark internship Program (formerly known as Back2Work) is our initiative to enable women transition back to the workforce after a career break. The program is a five-month-long paid internship in a remote working format. After successful completion of the internship, candidates are offered full time roles in Walmart based on their performance. International Women’s Day saw a carousel of events hosted at IDC - from Women in Tech Webinar to Women focused wellness sessions, from #TechnologyOnTheMove to Fun tech activations at workplace, our calendar was all about celebrating women.
Parenting session with Klay: A session about the importance of spending quality time with children and family, work life integration and much deserved ‘me time’.
Power to Women: This was a self-defense and safety workshop focusing on prevention, avoidance and escape against threats or risky situations.
Healthy Woman: A guided session by an experienced gynecologist on various aspects related to woman’s physical and emotional health.
Nail the Fundamentals Hackathon: An IDC-wide event to encourage associates to collaborate & develop innovative proof of concepts around Data Quality, System Stability, Security & True Cloud Adoption.
