Small Business Stories: Comfort Cases
Heidi Webb became involved with Comfort Cases before its official formation and served as the organization’s first board member, motivated by her personal understanding of the foster care system. The organization, founded by Rob Scheer, was inspired by his own experience in foster care, including the demeaning practice of using trash bags to transport personal belongings. Rob’s vision was to replace trash bags with backpacks, giving dignity to foster children.
