Jerry Geisler serves as the executive vice president and chief information security officer (CISO) of Walmart’s global Information Security department. His responsibilities encompass data security for millions of customers and associates. In addition, he oversees the information security strategy, engineering, services, testing and assessment, accredited forensics lab, risk, threat intel, cybersecurity operations, policies, governance and compliance for the global enterprise.
Walmart’s Information Security program, under Jerry’s leadership, is considered a forward-thinking industry-leader focused on emerging best-in-class information security practices, innovation and business enablement broadly engaged across IT, OT, cloud, platform and product security domains.
Jerry is an armed forces veteran, having served honorably in the United States Marine Corps and is long-term associate with Walmart. He began his Walmart career as a cashier in his hometown store more than three decades ago.
