Bio
Adam Ely is Head of Digital Product & Engineering within Fidelity Brokerage at Fidelity Investments. He leads a global team of technology and product experts to deliver relevant insights, capabilities, solutions, and experiences for our diverse customer base within the web and mobile properties that our customers interact with each day.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Ely was Fidelity’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Before joining Fidelity, Mr. Ely was a technology executive and CISO having founded a security product company and held global leadership roles with several Fortune 100 companies. He was Vice President and Deputy Chief Information Security Officer with Walmart from 2016-2021. Prior to this role, Mr. Ely co-founded Bluebox Security (acquired in 2016), was the CISO of Salesforce's Heroku business unit, and led security and compliance at TiVo and within The Walt Disney Company.
In addition to his current role, Mr. Ely serves as an advisor to companies ranging from startups to the Fortune 500, is an advisor to Florida State University, and a lecturer in Columbia University’s Enterprise Risk Management Master’s degree program.
