Walmart dollars
Each year you get $250 in Walmart dollars if you cover just yourself, or $500 if you cover dependents.
Automatic payment
The plan automatically uses Walmart
dollars to pay for your eligible medical
expenses until those dollars are used up.
Annual rollover
If you have unused Walmart dollars at the
end of the year, they’ll roll over, up to the
amount of your deductible as long as
you’re still enrolled in the Contribution
HRA Plan next year.
If you’re enrolled in the Contribution HRA Plan and you work in California, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Jersey, Tennessee, Washington State, or West Virginia your plan will be discontinued at the end of 2026. Any Walmart dollars left in your health reimbursement account on Jan. 1, 2027, will be forfeited.1
If you don’t choose a new plan during Annual Enrollment, you’ll be automatically enrolled in the Premier PPO Plan at the same tier of coverage you have now.
Choosing a new medical plan is an important decision, so we strongly encourage you to go to One.Walmart.com/ComparePlans to explore all your options.
1Any unused HRA funds will remain available for eligible medical expenses incurred through Dec. 31, 2026.
When it’s time, enroll online.
This plan features a health reimbursement account, or HRA. You’ll get Walmart dollars to help pay for eligible medical expenses: $250 each year for yourself only or $500 for yourself and your covered dependents. These Walmart dollars are used automatically when you get eligible care. For example when your provider files a medical claim for you, the amount you’re responsible for will be paid using your available Walmart dollars. These payments are also applied to your deductible.
Once you meet your deductible, the plan starts paying up to 75% of eligible costs for most in-network services.
If you have any Walmart dollars left over at the end of the year, they’ll roll over to the next year as long as you’re still enrolled in the Contribution HRA Plan, up to the amount of your plan deductible. But if you switch to another plan or leave the company, you can’t take your Walmart dollars with you.
Associates who work in CA, KY, LA, MS, NJ, TN, WA, WV: If you’re enrolled in the Contribution HRA Plan in one of these states, your plan will be discontinued at the end of 2026. Any Walmart dollars remaining in your health reimbursement account on Jan. 1, 2027, will still be available for eligible medical expenses incurred on or before Dec. 31, 2026. Any Walmart dollars left after all eligible 2026 expenses are paid will be forfeited.
