My Assistant Resource Hub
GenAI is a productivity tool to add to your belt!
Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) is a field of computer science and engineering that aims to create AI systems capable of generating new content like images, videos, and music without human intervention. These systems learn, reason, understand natural language, and adapt to new situations, making them capable of performing varied tasks and solving problems similarly to human intelligence. With the help of algorithms, these systems automate and enhance tasks, making processes more efficient, personalized, and intelligent.
Within Walmart, GenAI provides numerous opportunities, including streamlining and improving operations, accelerating technology development, making data-driven decisions, and enhancing customer and associate experiences. All of these advantages can help Walmart stay ahead in the highly competitive retail industry.
For questions on GenAI terminology, please refer to the GenAI Glossary of Terms.
How to use GenAI
To use GenAI, you will need to write prompts by adding specific information and context in the form of questions, statements, or instructions, and the tool will create new content based on the information it has. Navigate to the Writing Quality Prompts tab of this resource hub to learn more about effective prompt writing.

“I really like the new design of your website!”
“I’m not sure if I like the new design"
“The new design is awful!”
"I really like the new design of your website!" → Positive
"I’m not sure if I like the new design" → Neutral
"The new design is awful!" → Negative
Overall, the sentiment of the feedback is mixed. One response is positive, one is neutral, and one is negative. It is important to consider all feedback, both positive and negative, when evaluating the effectiveness of a website design.
