Annual Enrollment runs from Oct. 12 through Nov. 8.


​​It’s time for associates to choose from the many benefits that support their well-being and can help them live better in 2025, with support for their mind, body, and wallet. In this playbook, you’ll find details about which associates will see which messages as they explore their choices​​, as well as resources and tools to help you communicate about Annual Enrollment​​. Below are some key highlights to keep in mind as you review the playbook:


Key Annual Enrollment messages for associates

For 2025 Annual Enrollment, our communications focus on the following key messages to help drive associate awareness and engagement:


  • Unlock more: Live better with Walmart benefits that help you find a quality network provider for your health, as well as save time and money with virtual care.
  • Own your financial future: Hit your savings goals faster with ONE@Work, and get long-term cash support when you can't work or when your loved ones need it most.


Personalized Benefits Guide for associates

Encourage associates to explore their options in their personalized Benefits Guide at One.Walmart.com/AE. If they're not currently enrolled, or if they're enrolled and want to make changes, they will need to take action by Nov. 8.


Medical third-party administrator changing

In five areas, the medical claims administrator will be changing for 2025. This change means that some health care providers might not be considered in-network starting Jan. 1, 2025. These areas are located in the following states: MN, NV, and NC.


Current medical plans going away in 2025

The four Geisinger HMO medical plans offered in PA will no longer be available in 2025. Associates who are currently enrolled in one of these plan​​s​​ will ​​need to select a new medical plan option during Annual Enrollment. If they do not choose a new medical plan, they’ll automatically be enrolled in ​​​​the Premier Plan for 2025​​​​.​​


Current medical plan going away in 2026

While the PPO medical plan option will still be available in 2025 for those who are currently enrolled in the PPO, it will be discontinued in 2026. Associates who are currently enrolled in this coverage don’t have to choose a new medical plan option right now, but will need to during 2026 Annual Enrollment next fall.
