BENTONVILLE, Ark. (December 5, 2024) — The Walmart Museum’s temporary location in the Ledger building will permanently close to the public on Monday, February 17, 2025, with Sunday, February 16 marking its last day of operation. This closure will allow for final preparations as the museum team prepares to return to its original Downtown Square location in the historic Terry Block Building, following renovations.

The Museum staff encourages those planning visits to explore the museum’s temporary location before February 16, 2025, and looks forward to welcoming everyone back to the Downtown Square location in March of 2025.

“At Walmart, we know the Museum is a staple of Bentonville’s downtown square that attracts both locals and visitors. We are eager to welcome our community and guests back to the permanent Walmart Museum location in 2025,” said Rob Towne, Walmart’s Vice President of Workplace Experience.
