Quality care at your fingertips
We’ve identified local doctors who have consistently delivered the best value and quality care. They’re called preferred providers, and they’ve been selected based on three things: accurately diagnosing health conditions, recommending the right treatments, and helping their patients get better.
Identifying quality providers is all part of Walmart’s commitment to connecting you and your family to quality health care.
Your plan covers a higher share of eligible costs when you see one of these preferred providers: you’ll pay either a copay or 25% of eligible costs after you meet your deductible, instead of 50% after deductible for another doctor in your network. It’s all part of our commitment to connecting you and your family to quality health care. To find preferred providers, go to IncludedHealth.com/Walmart.
Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, and Chicago Metro
The following areas have access to preferred providers:
- Florida: Gainesville, Jacksonville, Orlando, and Tampa;
South Florida including Miami, Port St. Lucie, and Fort Myers - Oklahoma: Oklahoma City and Tulsa
- Texas: Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio
- Chicago Metro
In these areas you’ll have four types of doctors available:
- Network preferred, highly rated: doctors who have consistently provided care in your area that’s among the best for their specialty.
- Network preferred: network doctors who have consistently delivered the best value and quality care.
- Network non-preferred: doctors who are part of the network but are not preferred providers, so you’ll only have 50% coverage after deductible.
- Non-network: doctors who are not in your health plan’s network. You’ll have either no coverage (Oklahoma, Texas, or Chicago Metro) or 50% coverage after deductible (Florida) with these doctors depending on your work location.
