I recently had the pleasure of welcoming Chapel Hart to the Walmart Radio podcast following their knockout performance at the grand opening of our new Walmart in Cypress, Texas. Let me tell you—these ladies radiate charisma and confidence. From the moment we started chatting, it was an absolute blast.
The powerhouse trio—sisters Danica and Devynn Hart, along with their cousin Trea Swindle—brought their signature blend of humor, heart, and harmony to the celebration in true Southern style.
From Hart’s Chapel to Center Stage
Chapel Hart hails from the small town of Poplarville, Mississippi, where they grew up singing together in a church aptly named Hart’s Chapel. Their journey—from busking on the streets of New Orleans to taking center stage on "America’s Got Talent"—is nothing short of inspiring.
Their breakout moment came with their original hit, "You Can Have Him Jolene"—a bold, sassy response to Dolly Parton’s classic. The song earned them the coveted Group Golden Buzzer on AGT, catapulting them into the national spotlight.

A Sound That’s All Their Own
What sets Chapel Hart apart is their ability to infuse traditional country music with their distinct Southern flair. Their harmonies are seamless, their lyrics are clever, and their stage presence is magnetic.
They’ve been featured in CMT’s "Next Women of Country" and have graced the stage of the Grand Ole Opry, where they’ve earned multiple standing ovations—and the hearts of country fans everywhere.
More Than Just Music
What truly makes Chapel Hart special is their authenticity. During our conversation, they opened up about their upbringing, dream performances, and their belief that “you are always where you’re supposed to be.”
Their warmth, wit, and wisdom shine just as brightly off stage as on. They’re not just artists to watch—they’re people you can’t help but root for.
