“I can still feel vibrations in my right ear, and music is the only thing that kicks it off,” Terrell said. “So, every time I listen to music, music is like what makes me complete, in a way.”
Recently, Terrell says the spirit of his fellow associates inspired him to write the poem, “Hearts of Magic,” and the more he wrote, the more he wanted to ensure all types of people were included. Usually, writing lyrics or poems comes naturally and quickly to Terrell, but this one needed a little more time.
“It took me about 15 minutes to get the skeleton of it,” Terrell said. He hoped the words would evolve into a message that would not leave anyone out. He used that as motivation when he put pen to paper.
