You might have seen recently that Walmart is making changes to our military leave policy.
This is a good thing for military families. Under the new policy, Walmart, Sam’s Club and Supply Chain associates will receive 30 days of Paid Military Leave per calendar year to be paid at 100 percent of associates’ Walmart pay. At the end of the 30 days, associates may be eligible for one year of Paid Military Leave to be paid as differential pay if their service assignment continues. Walmart has a strong history of supporting our veterans and active military, and these policy changes are just another way we are adapting to better serve those men and women who have given so much. We are grateful for their service today and every day.
