Guidelines for participants
The hackathon will be open to pre-final and final year UG & PG students from circuit branches (Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communications and Telecommunication Engineering) of Anna University and 24 start-ups incubated with the Anna Incubation Foundation.
Each team can comprise a maximum of three students and a minimum of two students. There cannot be any modifications to the team members and each team is expected to finish the Program with the people that they started with.
Startups associated with Anna Incubation Foundation can participate in the hackathon only if they have an invite from the Anna Incubation Foundation.
The shortlisting of ideas will be based on a comprehensive evaluation framework designed exclusively for this event by the judging committee of Walmart Global Tech India. All decisions taken will be final and shall solely rest with the discretion of this committee
You could choose a team that can operate seamlessly given the remote working situations now. Avoid any in-person meetings for the purpose of the hackathon. We encourage you to meet virtually using Zoom or WhatsApp.
We value diversity! We are an inclusive and diverse workplace and believe that diversity can contribute to varied perspectives and skillsets. Additional points will be awarded for diversity in teams.
