Fresh is a critical piece of our business and our future success.
With more than 90 percent of our members buying fresh from us, we’re continuing to make investments in our Fresh associates in ways that will help us provide the best service for our members.
So, we’re changing up almost everything about our training and introducing a new comprehensive, hands-on Fresh training program.
If you’re a Fresh Assistant Manager, Team Lead, or certain specialized role (Meat Cutter, Baker, Prepared Food Associate and Cake Decorator), you’ll be going off-site with your teammates for a multi-day group training experience. As the Club Manager, I’ll also be attending the training.
Expect it to be intensive and hands-on. You’ll learn new skills, build your knowledge of Fresh and you’ll probably even have some fun.
This replaces the current Fresh Certification program. And we’ll run a refresher training every year so you can keep up to speed.
Training will take place over the next few months. As dates are finalized, I’ll let you know.
