Fresh is a critical piece of our business and our future success. With more than 90 percent of our members buying fresh from us, we’re continuing to make investments in our Fresh associates in ways that will help us provide the best service for our members.
To further develop the skills of our associates so they can serve our members even better, we’re introducing a new comprehensive, hands-on Fresh training program. We’ve also updated the job descriptions for Fresh Leads.
There will be new job descriptions - including titles, essential functions, and minimum qualifications - for Lead positions in Fresh to more clearly state the expectations of the position and entice candidates (both internally and externally) to build their career at Sam’s Club in Fresh. The job descriptions will be added to this toolkit soon, but below is a snap-shot of the positions.
