New Role Selection Process
- The current Backroom associates (Receiving Team Lead, Receiving Clerk, Claims Associate, Dock [Day Receiving] Associates) who meet the eligibility requirements can apply in a closed pool for the new positions.
- Interested, eligible associates should preference “Receiving Office” in Career Preference to be included in the applicant pool for consideration.
- Club Managers cannot simply place associates in the new roles. Associates must go through the standard interview process for applying for an open position in the club.
- If the new positions are not filled in the closed pool, it will be opened to internal and external candidates beginning Saturday, Nov. 3.
- The job description and interview guides are provided in the resources section to be used during the candidate selection process.
- Associates selected for the new Backroom positions will officially begin their new role on Saturday, Nov. 10.
Associate Notification Information
- With the elimination of the Receiving Team Lead, Receiving Clerk, Claims Associate, Dock (Day Receiving) Associate positions, associates in these roles will be given a 45-day notification period to find an open role in the club or elect to receive a severance package (if eligible).
- Note: Club Managers can request severance estimates from their Field People Partner – HR Ops.
- If a severance eligible-associate does not secure a position prior to their notification period ending, and would like to request severance, Club Managers must submit a request on the WIRE at:
- Knowledge Center > People Support > HR Services > HR Admin > Tools and Reports > Severance Request
- If an impacted associate does not secure a position by the end of the notification period, the direct supervisor will need to initiate the termination in Workday using the reason code "Involuntary - Position Eliminated.”
