Key Details on Block Schedules
- Full time associates will now have a consistent schedule each week, including consecutive days off. This will:
- Allow our associates more stability
- Promote teamwork and allow associates to build a better relationship with the associates they work with on a consistent basis
- Ensure we have proper associate coverage throughout the entire day – and not just during the busiest times– so we can properly stock and recover.
- Going forward, each work group will have a specific set of shifts. A scheduling template that will be customized for your club will be sent to you on Jan. 9. It will outline specific guidelines your club should follow when assigning and scheduling associates in each work group.
- For example: If your template calls for seven (7) Payment Services from 6 am - 2:30 pm, simply schedule seven (7) associates to cover those shifts blocks in the shift.
- The part time shifts will be filled based on availability due to demand. There will be three part-time shifts: 9 am – 1 pm, 1 pm – 5 pm, 4 pm – 9 pm.
- The scheduling template is just a guide and adjustments can be made; however, clubs must ensure they don’t exceed the demand hours that are given.
- Due to the shifts available, there may also be an opportunity to make some part time associates full time.
- Associates will have the opportunity to give the leadership team their preference on which shift they would prefer to work based on the new shift options and to update their Associate Availability Form.
- Club Managers will decide which associates are placed in each shift based on the associate’s preference and tenure with the company.
