To focus on the overall member experience, we have separated the Club Pickup tasks between two Work Groups - Member Team and Merchandising Team. The part of the process Merchandising Team will be responsible for is picking and staging because associates in this Work Group are the experts on our items and where they are located, which will help us provide fast and efficient service when an order comes in. Managers must ensure all Merchandising associates are skills-trained on how to pick items from the Fresh department, including freezer/cooler, to ensure we are picking the best quality items for our members.
