Overnight Associate Transition (Previously known as Morning Stock)
As you learned at the Turn It Up! Conference, we are moving overnight stocking positions to daytime roles, and redistributing hours for full-time associates into two daytime shifts. This change to daytime stocking will schedule more associates on the floor to be available to interact and help members. The following is important information about this transition:
- There will be several weeks from the time associates learn about this until the new schedules begin so associates can make a smooth transition from nights to days.
- New training will ensure these associates are successful in daytime roles.
- Associates who do not want to move to daytime roles will be offered severance, if eligible.
- The transition timeline will vary by club. Clubs serviced by MacClenny and Monroe DCs will transition overnight associates to days on Saturday, June 8. All other remaining clubs will transition on June 22.

If your club has already moved overnight associates to days, please carefully review the Merchandising Team section of this toolkit as all of the information is applicable to your associates who are now going to be a part of this work group. You can disregard the Overnight Associate Transition section as it pertains to clubs who have not yet transitioned to days.
