Associates who are impacted because of grade level movement will not see a pay change to the total rate of pay unless they are under the grade level minimum for their position.
Associates who have an overnight differential or market differential will have that differential rolled into their base pay rate, even if it takes them over the new Grade Level (GL) maximum. After the differential is rolled, if an associate’s base pay is less than the new GL minimum, then the base will increase to the new GL minimum.
All streamlined jobs will remain on the same three-level Grade Level structure (A-C). View the grade level values for your facility on the Field Pay Summary screen here.
Associates will generally fall into one of following categories:
All associates who currently have a Market or Overnight Differentials will see these reflected in their new base pay.
All associates who are currently within the band of their new position will not see any changes to their base pay.
All associates who are under the grade level minimum for their position will have their base pay adjusted up to the new minimum of their new position.
All associates who are over the grade level maximum for the new position will not see any changes to their base pay.
