To ensure a smooth transition to day stocking, you should be prepared to coordinate as needed with your adult beverage distributors. As you coordinate with your adult beverage distributors, keep in mind that some states prohibit distributors from providing any stocking services. You can review the laws for your state at WIRE> Work> Alcohol> Compliance > Regulatory Requirements > Alcohol Compliance Information Lookup.
Where state law allows distributors to stock, it is always at the distributor’s discretion—it must be voluntary. We can never require or demand stocking services. Additionally, where distributors voluntarily decide to stock, we can’t dictate the terms of how they do it. What you can do is explain our preferred processes to distributors who want to assist with stocking. Those processes are described below. If they do not choose one of the two times we have offered, we can allow them to stock at their preferred time or do the stocking ourselves.
Stocking before 7am
Where vendors help support/stock before 7am coordinate with the evening (PM) forklift drivers to drop adult beverage pallets to be ready on the floor the next morning to be stocked from 4am-7am.
Stocking 7am-10am
Where vendors support/stock between 7am-10am the club will coordinate with AM forklift drivers to have product that needs to be stocked dropped and staged for vendors to pallet jack to the area to fill. Areas to stage pallets include:
