Training Club Associates

The Club Managers will be responsible for training the Club Management team and all Leads on the new ways of working. One additional member of management should be trained on each task immediately. All salaried managers and Leads should complete their training by Friday, March 29. How-to guides for these important processes are available on a new HR and People Task Training Information page on the WIRE.

Required Training for All Salaried Managers

All salaried managers must review the Sam’s Club FMLA Policy Acknowledgement Certification and acknowledge this completion in GLMS.

Required Training for all Salaried Managers and Leads

Due to the release of the new I-9 CBL, all salaried managers will have their CBL reset on Feb. 13, and should retake it by March 13. Management associates will not have access to the system until they complete this CBL.

As part of the transition of work, Leads will also be given the responsibility of processing I-9s. These associates must pass an I-9 CBL before they can be granted access to the system.

  • All team leads will be assigned a CBL in GLMS on Wednesday, Feb. 13, for completion by end of their shift on Wednesday, March 13.
  • The Club Manager or the Lead’s direct supervisor will have access to verify the CBL completion in GLMS.
  • Once he/she passes the CBL, a weekly report will be reviewed by compliance and they will be granted I-9 system access. If follow up is needed please email Employ0@walmart.com.
  • The Lead can then begin processing I-9s for the associates in their club once the system access is granted.

Note: In clubs currently on the E-Verify system, Leads must complete the CBL before facilitating Associate Orientation. Clubs currently on the E-Verify system include: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Utah.
