We've raised more than £1.6m for BBC Children in Need

This year's BBC Children in Appeal has come to an end, but you can still show your support and get involved!

We proudly announced during the appeal show that we've raised an incredible £1,619,357 for BBC Children in Need so far this year, which will help children in crisis across the UK.

With your support we can help over 45,000 children and young people across the UK affected by poverty by 2022.

Our Pudsey Products

As always, we had a fabulous range of exclusive Pudsey products, available in-store and online at George.com. The range includes the Official T-Shirt, which has been designed in collaboration with The Garage Trust in Norwich, who have been directly supported by BBC Children in Need.

Watch the video on the creation of the t-shirt here.

If you watched the appeal Show on Friday 13th November, you will also have spotted our Asda Thank You film, which featured the amazing product range, our Official T-Shirt and our Stevenage store. Well done and thank you to all involved!

Digital Donations

Ahead of our Tickled Pink activity in October, we proudly launched a new way for our customers to donate in a safe way, our tap to donate GoodBox units.

For our BBC Children in Need activity, we had even more ways for colleagues and customers to get involved and donate, including our online donation page or via our QR code.

We also proudly launched our self-checkout donation buttons to create an easy and convenient way for customers to add a 10p, 25p, 50p or £1 donation to their total shopping bill, which can be paid using cash or cards.
